Virtual Conference

Join us for our virtual 2020 MEGS State Gifted Education Conference! We'll kick off the conference on October 16, 2020 with three live keynotes featuring Dr. Brian Housand, Dr. Gilman Whiting, and Dr. Eugenia Mora-Flores discussing different perspectives on how we engage the gifted learner in our changing world.
  • Dr. Brian Housand - Increasing Student Engagement with Choices, Creativity, Complexity, and Curiosity
  • Dr. Gilman Whiting - Intentional Practices that Acknowledge & Affirm Culture in Gifted Education
  • Dr. Eugenia Mora-Flores - Meaningful Engagement for Gifted English Learners​
Registration for this conference will include a year-long MEGS membership along with a professional development package that features recordings of the three keynotes, over 40 videos on a variety of gifted education topics, and access to a four-part series with Dr. Whiting which can be accessed on-demand through October 15, 2021.

In order to access the three live keynotes, registrations must be complete by October 14, 2020.   Any registrations that occur after October 14th will receive platform access after October 16th in order to access recordings of all sessions.

Once you have registered, be on the lookout for login information for our website which should be sent within 72 hours of your purchase and will provide you access to the conference materials starting on October 16, 2020.
