​The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth is a center for innovation that offers challenging summer day and residential, and year-round online courses and educational travel experiences for advanced learners in grades 2-12. Our courses are grounded in nearly 50 years of research and experience working with bright pre-college students from around the world. At CTY students participate in rigorous coursework with a novel context or approach, engage in fun projects and activities, and make friends with other kids who share their interests. Spring online courses in our dynamic virtual classrooms are now enrolling. Summer three-week residential and day courses in Baltimore and around the U.S. open for enrollment in December. ​Maryland Destination Imagination is a volunteer-led nonprofit where student teams solve open-ended challenges with no adult interference in the solution. Kids learn to think creatively, work together, and recover from failure by actually doing those things, not by watching someone else do them. Every team brings something different. That's exactly the point.
