The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth is a center for innovation that offers challenging summer day and residential, and year-round online courses and educational travel experiences for advanced learners in grades 2-12. Our courses are grounded in nearly 50 years of research and experience working with bright pre-college students from around the world. At CTY students participate in rigorous coursework with a novel context or approach, engage in fun projects and activities, and make friends with other kids who share their interests. Spring online courses in our dynamic virtual classrooms are now enrolling. Summer three-week residential and day courses in Baltimore and around the U.S. open for enrollment in December. MHS Gifted and Talented Education solutions help educators identify and support high‑ability
learners, ensuring gifted potential is recognized fairly across student populations. Our scientifically validated assessments are designed to reveal how students think, not just what they know. By measuring reasoning and cognitive strengths, we help uncover potential in students who are often overlooked because of language, background, or exposure to learning opportunities.
